Erasure and Account Closure

How erasure and closure requests are handled. Distinct from exile, revocation and discharge.

Owner legal review required before public launch. This text is interim machinery wording, not professionally approved counsel, and asserts no jurisdiction-specific claims.
OWNER REVIEW REQUIRED — Interim procedure. 1. Submit a privacy request (Erasure) while signed in. The request is recorded permanently. 2. Staff with privacy review authority verify identity and decide an explicit outcome. 3. Possible reviewed outcomes include: pseudonymisation (identifiers nulled, redacted_at set), account closure (status CLOSED — not exile, not staff revocation, not service discharge), restricted retention, partial fulfilment, or refusal where a permanent record must stand. 4. Erasure never deletes append-only audit rows, issued instruments, votes, judgments, or rewrites public history. Official Registry portraits and issued documents follow permanent-record policy. 5. Classified reasons for refusal are not exposed to the requester.
